Case Study

Cherry St. Films

Juxta called home to the most sought after independent back lot set for 13 consecutive years; prior to the gentrification of the Distillery District and the Pan Am Games, there was the former CN Police Headquarters, former Palace Street School House, former Cherry St. Hotel, former General Steel Warehouse and former Canary Restaurant all under Juxta's leadership together comprised the Juxta studio.

Patrick’s film studio hosted the personal side projects of William H. Macy, Milla Jovovich, 50 Cent, Sarah Polley and Atom Egoyan while earning its keep on bread and butter studio films such as Chicago, Dawn of The Dead, Assault on Precinct 13, Angel Eyes, Scott Pilgram Vs. The World and Kick Ass.  Exploiting the gritty Victorian historical looks of Corktown's former industrial lands, it was A Home At The End Of The World that framed American anthems from Hell's Kitchen New York to Detroit and the Zombie Apocalypse beyond.
