Green Lantern

Juxta was approached to come up with a buzz worthy stunt to support the theatrical release of GREEN LANTERN, an American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Giving the premise credit for their brainstorm session – “A test pilot is granted an alien ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe,” Juxta came up with the idea of a fully inverted human gyroscope NASA approved flight simulator that they would bring to various high-traffic events and locations so movie-goers could test their own “Green Lantern” powers.

Warner Bros. was excited by the idea and gave the green light. Patrick and his team set out and created the flight simulator in-studio. Securing the appropriate permits and insurance policies Patrick and his team brought the GREEN LANTERN flight simulator to busy locations and school events to reach the desired demographic for this film including Ryerson University, Colossus Vaughan Cinemas, The Bloor-Yorkville BIA and the Four Seasons Hotel.

The stunt was deemed a success and drummed up tremendous buzz for the film, which opened at the number one spot at the box office.
