Harold & Kumar 3D XMAS

Warner Bros. wanted to cause a holiday fracas at busy Yonge & Dundas Square in Toronto complete with a Harold & Kumar style Christmas tree, a key feature in this installment of their adventures and naturally reached out to Juxta.

Patrick and his team were eager to get started and dreamed up a holiday event Harold & Kumar style that included securing the permits and insurance polices to hold the Yonge & Dundas event, creating all the holiday props, hiring and designing costumes for talent, sourcing and installing a 14 foot Christmas tree, rigging stunts to recreate the burning tree scene as seen in the film and employing off-duty police officers to ensure crowds control.

Event day morning Patrick and his team set about like Santa’s elves creating a Harold & Kumar Christmas and crowds came by the hundreds to watch the installation. By noon it was apparent word had spread that there was to be a Harold & Kumar tree burning and the crowds were poised, camera in hand to capture. The day-long event supported by hired Christmas angels and toy soldiers who engaged the crowds and drummed up interest in the film handing out film swag.

Warner Bros. was happy with the high-level of turnout of excited moviegoers taking photos and sharing to social media sites to support the films theatrical release.
