Watchmen
Warner Bros. wanted to create some gritty-themed buzz in advance of the WATCHMEN‘s theatrical release and contracted Patrick and the Juxta team to bring it to the street. Patrick and the team set to work creating New York Watchmen style magazine kiosks – complete with all the gritty props saw in the film, placed and staffed them at high traffic hot spots around Toronto.
Rolled over the course of two-weeks in advance of the film hitting theatres, no one walked past the WATCHMEN kiosks without giving a second glance - many fans came specifically for a glimpse, some passersby actually tried to buy the props/products. Press coverage garnered was outstanding and this marketing effort paid off at the box office.
